Causes of the Civil War 2009

Today you will pretend you are a reporter researching the Causes of the Civil War

Go to the site krugsushistory.blogspot.com

You will be assigned two events, for each you will:

1. Describe the event (year, what happened, who was involved)
2. Describe how the action of people or government led to the Civil War or further separating society
3. Describe how the people of the North reacted and People of the South
4. Was there a peaceful solution

Part B: Part B Then choose from one of the events and go back and write a report on the event in great detail.

Who
Why
Where
When
How
Tell me people's reaction (as if you were interviewing them) also really describe the historical setting, what it was like.

You must include Lincoln's reaction –main ideas from him about the event.
